What changes the price
Door size and weight. A double door carries heavier springs and longer cables than a single, so the parts cost more.
Spring cycle rating. A standard spring costs less. A high-cycle spring adds $50 to $120 and roughly doubles spring life.
Opener type. Parts for belt-drive and smart openers cost more than parts for a basic chain drive.
Age of the hardware. On an older door, one broken part often sits next to worn rollers, hinges or cables. Each gets its own price, and you choose what gets done.
Damage. A bent track or a creased panel from a bumper adds parts and time. Off-track repair starts at $175 + HST and rises with the damage.
Access. Low headroom or a garage packed to the door adds time on site.
