Cable came off the drum
If the cable unwound from the drum at the top corner, the door usually hangs lower on that side. Don’t run the opener. The tech rewinds or replaces the cable, checks the drum and sets the door level again.
Cable snapped or broke on one side
A frayed cable usually gives way near the bottom bracket. We replace both cables as a pair so the door lifts evenly, from $165 + HST, with a drum check included.
